THANKSGIVING EVENT

Everyone is invited to a special Interfaith THANKSGIVING EVENT ... Save the date! For the first time in three years, and with partial proceeds benefiting Hope Center Houston, the Spring Interfaith Council will hold an in-person Interfaith Thanksgiving Event on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, beginning at 7 P.M. at The Centrum at Cypress Creek Christian Church, 6823 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379. The program will feature stories from many faith traditions about the ways we celebrate Thanksgiving that will include a brief testimony of thanksgiving from Andrew Rey, a former Hope Center Houston guest who was awarded "Achiever of the Year" in 2019 by the Houston Coalition for the Homeless. Hope Center Houston...
offering hope to the homeless

Holiday Schedule: In celebration of Thanksgiving, Hope Center Houston will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25. We will reopen on Monday, Nov. 28th with all services.

As a day center located in Northwest Houston, Hope Center Houston not only offers hope to those in our community experiencing homelessness, but also a delicious hot breakfast, lunch, showers, laundry, clothing, social services, mentoring, prayer, and more!

While we continue to be vigilant for the safety of our guests, volunteers, and visitors (masks, temperature checks, social distancing) during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, our guest services are offered Monday through Friday from 9-1pm, with administrative hours of operation from 9-3pm. Hope Center Houston is currently closed on weekends.

And as a predominately volunteer-based organization, we always welcome additional friendly faces, warm hearts,  and helping hands in all positions. Please visit our volunteer page on this website for a volunteer application and information about our many programs and services. Just a few hours of your time each week can make a difference in the life of a person experiencing homelessness. Thank you!

At least 580,000 people in America are homeless.
This number of people could occupy five football stadiums.
